Forelock again!
Yes, yes, you heard right, forelocks again conquers fashion podiums around the world. In the spring of 2019, stylists tipped haircuts with bangs just tremendous popularity.
Short hair
At almost every show there was a short-haired model, and on Givenchy, there was a majority of them. Some were cut specifically for the show — for example, Redken creative director Guido Palau coolly cut off Nikki Thyssen’s pretty long hair before the Prada show.
Extended season
Fashion returns to the 70s! But the stylists still recommend slightly refresh the classic version of this haircut and add some modern touches to it.
Headscarves!
There was something else that some fashion designers agreed on. Instead of curls, smooth hair and other styling options Tom Ford and Jonathan Anderson chose headscarves that almost completely hid their hairstyles. Small size fashion scarves are used today as jewelry. They are perfectly combined with long flowing hair, creating in just a couple of minutes the effect of a beautiful hairstyle.
